Name three powerful strategies students use to reflect on their learning, then discuss closely the one you use most often.
So the original topic for today didn't make sense to me so I added a few words which are in red. Not sure if I got it right but I'm going with it. I also didn't write about three...I'm cool with it.
Like all students, mine need to be taught how to be reflective and need help in order to help others to be reflective. Most of the time, I have conversations with my students and ask probing questions in order for them to think about their work. This seems to be my major way of having my students reflect on their work.
Another method I use is exit slips in order to have students reflect on their learning for the day...A little different but just ask important because I want them to keep the information long term.
Reflection is important and vital in growing as a learner. I do it daily and I hope my students do it as well.
