Name the top edtech tools that you will use on a consistent basis in the classroom, and rank them in terms of their perceived (by you) effectiveness.
Edtech tools for me in the elementary are typically iPad apps and other tools. This year I am hoping to incorporate Twitter and blogging into my classroom and through these tools, I hope they will be more excited about writing.
Keynote and Pages are two programs that I've used a lot in my classroom to show learning after research. The students created projects to present to their ELL classmates and their homeroom classmates and we printed a copy out to display in the hallway. They were proud of their work and were even more proud when they were able to share to their classmates.
I have learned about so many new and different apps over the summer that I'm hoping to incorporate more of them into my classroom as well.
Keynote and Pages are easy to use by elementary students but so are many apps that I've purchased for the iPad. I will let you know later how easy twitter and my weebly blog are for the students to use.
