What is feedback for learning, and how well do you give it to students?
According to Merriam-Webster, feedback means helpful information or criticism that is given to someone to say what can be done to improve a performance, product, etc.. As teachers we are encouraged to give constant and specific feedback in order to guide our students.
I do give my students feedback while they're learning but I tend to be better at it towards the beginning of the year and taper off as the year goes on. I need to be more consistent throughout the year and need to make sure that my feedback will allow my students to grow as learners.
